(HONORARY) BRIGADIER DR ARVIND LAL, PADMA SHRI Executive Chairman - Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd. Chair, FICCI Swasth Bharat (Public Health) Task Force Brig. Arvind Lal is a pioneer in bringing laboratory services in India at par with the Western world. He is an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. In 1977, Brig. Lal took charge of Dr Lal PathLabs, the medical diagnostics laboratory founded in 1949 by his late father. Under his expert guidance and leadership, Dr Lal PathLabs (LPL) has become one of the most reputed laboratories in Asia having to its credit a record of 32 labs accredited from NABL & he brought International recognition to the Indian Healthcare Industry in the form of accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP - USA). Currently, they operate nearly 216 labs, including Asia’s biggest lab at Rohini, New Delhi. The lab tests over 70,000 patients every day; in 2020 they tested nearly 20 million patients. In the ongoing Covid pandemic they have already tested more than 1 million patients by RT – PCR. He was the Former President of NatHealth. He is currently the Chairman of FICCI’s Swasth Bharat (Public Health) Task Force and is the outgoing Chairman of FICCI’s Health Services Committee. Awarded with the Padma Shri in 2009, Dr Lal is also the first civilian doctor to be granted an honorary Brigadier’s rank in Armed Forces Medical Services in 2009. In 2015, under his leadership, his company had one of the most successful IPOs’ in the history of the National Stock Exchange. In 2016, the All India Management Association (AIMA) conferred on Dr Lal the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year award. In 2017, Dr Lal was conferred with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award by the Federation of Indian Chambers and Commerce (FICCI). In 2019, Dr Lal was inducted into the prestigious ‘Hall of Fame’ by the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He along with his CEO was awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2019 in Healthcare. He was also awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy, PhD, Honoris Causa by Rai University.

My professional experience is large as an entrepreneur. I have twenty-five years of working experience in the area of infrastructure development, especially in Energy, Urban Transportation, Telecommunications etc Inca Informatics which was promoted by me and then sold a few years ago, specialised as Systems Integrator for the Telecom Industry and executed projects around the world. I am an active Angel Investor and a Member of the Indian Angel Network. To date, I have invested in about fifty Startup's in India and abroad. I have invested in cutting edge technology companies in Healthcare, CleanTech, Energy Conservation, Water Conservation, Robotics, Agri Tech and Logistics. I am also mentoring a few Startups. I am on the Board of a few companies like Transcell Oncologic ( https://transtoxbio.com) working on frontiers of Hemato Oncology and mesenchymal stemcell based solution for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Immune Biosciences - a Startup finding a solution for Vitiligo and currently conducting a Clinical Trial. I am also actively engaged in outreach programs in remote parts of Uttarakhand. I am associated with Charitable Hospitals in Uttarakhand that do a large number of free Eye Surgeries, General Medicine, Dentistry as well as run Ayurvedic Hospital. I read on a wide range of subjects and am a keen student of Austrian School of Economics and follow the latest technological developments in Healthscirnces and Biotechnology. I have been a keen trekker and have trekked extensively in Zanskar, Garhwal, Himachal region apart from some trekking in the US in Colorado. I have also been a keen oenophile and have enjoyed and collected the best wines. I believe in Carpe Diem and enjoy life each day to the fullest.

Sanjeev is a communications professional of 30 years standing, with stints in the pharma industry and several of India’s leading advertising agencies. For the past 15 years, he has run his own communications consultancy, offering communications solutions to clients in food retail, electronics, telecom, education, IT and consumer goods. Sanjeev Sarna is also a spiritual traveller and healer. As an ayurvedic healer and astrologer, he has voluntarily counselled and served innumerable people from all walks of life for many years through knowledge bodies he considers gifts from his gurus. He helps run a Haidakhandi Samaj a global spiritual organisation and two charitable hospitals in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. He believes his work in the business communication domain is an extension of this practice. In 2019, Sanjeev co-founded a new age Ayurveda venture - Teachers' Grace Scientific Ayurveda. The objective of this new age Ayurveda venture is to bring world-class Ayurveda cures with scientific validation.

Vijay Kumar Bhatiani is amongst one of the oldest devotees of Babaji. He had his first darshan of Babaji in 1973, since then Vijay has been benefitted from the divine grace of Babaji. He has been successfully managing the responsibility as Treasurer of the Haidakhandi Samaj for the last 16 years. Vijay Kumar has devoted a considerable part of his life towards the development activities and day to day management of the Samaj for the past 35 years. He holds a Master degree in Political Science and a Law degree from the University of Delhi. To make a living Vijay Kumar successfully ran a garment export and construction business. Now though retired, in his active days he was a successful garment exporter.
